Six Sentence Sunday: Matt and Bella grown up.

So, as per usual, I'm on step 80 when I need to be on step 2, and I am still preferring to write something other than what I should be.

This lil tidbit came to me after I wrote Promise (The short story that I did my Six Sentence Sunday last week)

They will be book #5 in my Collision series (No, #2 is not even written) but this scene came on strong, so I wrote it down. Enjoy the teaser!

Happy Sunday!

Bella bit back a sob. She would not cry. If he was going to be a bastard, so was she. She ripped off the gorgeous engagement ring he’d given her years ago and marched to him. Slamming it on the counter, the hazel eyes she loved so much finally met her gaze. The pain there almost made her step falter—almost.

Lusting for Covers!!

This is so much fun, I wanted to throw Sword's Call out there, even tho I'm tooting my own horn.

This meme is hosted by TBQ @ TBQ's Book Palace.

_____________________________________________________________ ____
Here's my VERY first contribution to Lusting for Covers!

Sword's Call is my first book and will be released April 2013 by Gypsy Shadow Publishing!

For generations, the Ryhans, ruling family of the Province of Greenwald have been keepers of a sword rumored to possess enough magic to defeat kings. Lord Varthan, a former archduke and betrayer of the king, covets the sword and invades Greenwald.

Lady Ceralda Ryhan, daughter of the murdered duke, gains the sword and flees, trusting only her white wolf, Trikser—magically bonded to her. Cera needs nothing more to aid in her fight.
Jorrin Aldern, half elfin and half human, left his home in the mountains of Aramour to find his human father who disappeared twenty turns before, but finds Cera with Varthan and his shades on her tail instead. His dual heritage and empathic magic will tempt Cera in ways she never thought she’d desire. But can he convince her trust and love can pave the path to redemption or will the epic battle end in tragedy and evil conquer them all?

Six Sentence Sunday: Promise

This is from a short story I wrote in hopes to be included in an anthology my writing group is doing. We're going to vote for the top 15 and I sure hope I make it in.

Entitled Promise, it's starring Bella, who is a secondary character in my romantic suspense, Collision Force. I love being able to stretch my character wings and get to know them more.

She'll most likely have her own book one day! Anyway, enjoy Bella and her boyfriend, Matt!

How did he know her so well? “Sounds like a plan,” she answered softly, leaning closer. He took full advantage of the invitation and slid his hand at the back of her neck as his lips settled over hers.

Bella’s heart went into overdrive as she opened for him, their tongues mingling. She slipped her arms around his neck, needing to be even closer. Body heating, she clung to Matt and kissed him back with all her might.
